Tagesschau in miniature: Susanne Daubner reports from Miniatur Wunderland
The Tagesschau has been reporting from a miniature news studio on events in Miniatur Wunderland since November 2015. Now Susanne Daubner, Tagesschau anchorwoman and new 1:87 scale miniature inhabitant, is taking over as presenter.
She takes over from her former colleague Jan Hofer, whose character spoke over 320,000 broadcasts at the touch of a button in the miniature studio, and at the same time brings fresh news topics from Knuffingen and the surrounding area. Susanne Daubner personally inserted her character into the high-tech miniature news studio and ceremoniously launched the new programme at the touch of a button in the presence of Wunderland founders Gerrit and Frederik Braun and Tagesschau editor-in-chief Marcus Bornheim.
With the broadcast of the new programme, all interested Wunderland guests and the more than 290,000 Wunderland model figures will be able to find out about the start of the carnival season in Rio de Janeiro, new developments in aviation and Formula 1 racing in Monaco, among other things.
